Edmore has more than 20 years financial reporting and management, administration, human resources and operations/project management working experience in international NGOs, private, public, financial and consultancy organizations/sectors. He previously worked for a Broadcasting institution, an Agricultural Financial institution, an Electricity Generation and Distribution Company, a Christian NGO dealing with Youth development and HIV/AIDS issues, an international NGO dealing with women’s health and their reproductive rights, a regional research NGO dealing with climate change issues, a Financial Consulting company and an Economic Research organization. He has occupied various senior management positions including Chief Finance and Operations Officer, Finance, HR and Administration Manager, Regional Finance Advisor (Africa), Finance and Operations Manager, National Finance Manager and Finance Manager among others in his working career.

Edmore is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration degree (DBA), is a holder of an MBA Degree, a Bachelor of Business Studies Honors Degree, a certificate in Project Management from Stellenbosch University and a certificate in Supervisory Management from the Institute of Supervisory Management (ISM London). He is a qualified PEPFAR Program Consultant trained through a collaborative program conducted by the University of Washington and I – TECH, Seattle, USA.

Edmore is well travelled both regionally and internationally. He has had the opportunity to travel and work in Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia. In these countries he was overseeing country office financial management, spearheaded the development of SOPs, management of grants, contracts as well as regional compliance issues. Internationally he travelled and worked in the USA, UK and in Nepal. He was a COP17 delegate in Durban, South Africa in 2011 and has attended several other workshops/seminars during his working career. He has extensive international Donor funds management experience. Some of projects he has managed were funded by PEPFAR, USAID, FINIDA, CIDA, AUSAID, SIDA, DFID, Ford Foundation and CIFF among others.

Edmore is currently the Board Chairman for FAMSA, a South African based NGO whose mission is to support individuals, families, organizations, communities and society to build, restore and sustain functional relationships. He is also a Board member for Hearts of a Champion – Africa, an NGO whose strategic mission is to encourage the youth to become men and women of character and integrity by giving them a framework for ethical living through a classroom based character development programme for high school students.
